MONACO/SOUTH OF FRANCE—Canadian slalom sensation Charlie Ross officially graduated to the sport’s elite, securing his first-ever Waterski Pro Tour victory at the highly competitive Monaco Waterski Cup (held in the French Riviera region) with an astonishing performance that saw him conquer the legendary 41-off (10.25-meter) line.
Against a field of World Champions, the 20-year-old phenom delivered the winning score of 1 buoy at 9.75m (43-off), proving he could not only run the critical 41-off pass but push beyond it to take the title.
