Made from Kevlar and resin, Everyday Altar reflects on how domestic space can shift in moments of crisis: a dining table becoming a site of tension, memory, or resistance. Kevlar’s history, from industry to weaponization, is redirected here toward care. Its sanded, raw surface resists polish and shows stress and abrasion, holding both fragility and strength, protection and exposure.
