The lids Collective edition pieces and lids serial line have been selected to accompany this year's Spotti Milano Salone presentation of the AMAZING HARDCORE Collection by Hannes Peer.
The Hardcore Collection was a show stopper and was unveiled to the public
on April 17th, 2026, in a vernissage that brought together the most savvy and discerning of Milan's design community. Needless to say, their aesthetic appetites were not disappointed.

"Terrine" translates directly from French to a "large earthenware pot". The vessel is used to bake a mixture of chopped meats, fat, and seasonings, which is then cooled and served cold.
The practice of placing a lid shaped like a bird or animal (often the same animal whose meat was inside) gained traction in the late 18th century. These were considered essential on fashionable, aristocratic tables to showcase the bounty of the host’s hunting grounds.
These lids were primarily made of ceramic or earthenware, often from regional centers known for their rustic, mold-made pottery, such as Ferrière-la-Petite in Northern France.

With nearly 600 million plastic bottles, plastic bottle lids are now among the top ten litter items found in rivers and the ocean. Bottle caps are also one of the most common items consumed by marine animals. Made with a more buoyant type of plastic, bottle caps also travel further across oceans than the bottles they are sold with.
A 2016 analysis of coastal plastic pollution by the North Sea Foundation found that plastic bottle caps are one of the top five littered items on beaches around the world
