Serving as Mistress of Ceremonies for the Vision Forward & Impact Awards during International Women’s Day Weekend was truly an incredible experience. Inside the National Center for Civil and Human Rights, we brought together powerful women, inspiring voices, and the next generation of leaders for a day focused on vision, mentorship, and impact. Hosted by Dr. Jeri Godhigh and Josie’s Girls Lead, the day brought together inspiring panels, powerful performances, and meaningful mentorship focused on one mission — investing in the next generation of young women. Guiding the conversations, celebrating remarkable women, and witnessing young leaders step forward was a reminder of why spaces like this matter. Then to be a recipient of an Impact Award was such an amazing surprise! Thank you to Dr. @JeriGodhigh and Josie’s Girls Lead for the opportunity to help bring this vision to life. Because when women give, the next generation gains. And moments like this remind us — the work is just beginning.
