Last night I hosted my first makeup masterclass in a while — and what a special evening it was. A room full of fantastic women, coming together to learn, connect and raise awareness, all in support of @breastcancernow
My model, and my forever muse Alex, sat for me whilst I demonstrated a fresh, modern look using simple, transferable techniques designed for real, everyday routines - practical skills that everyday makeup wearers of all ages can use to feel confident and polished.
A huge thank you to everyone who came along, supported, donated and shared stories and asked questions. Your kindness and energy filled the room, and I’m beyond grateful to be part of a community that uplifts each other and supports such an important cause. Together, we raised an incredible £680 for Breast Cancer Now - a charity doing life-changing work to support those affected and fund vital research.
A huge thank you to @bperfectcosmetics for sponsoring the event with product, @mykitco for the exclusive discount codes, @sthelensbeautyacademy for the space @_alexbrogan for modelling, Cara for filming content and Thatto Heath Social Club for the chairs! I also couldn’t have managed without my husband and wonderful mother in law for all their help too 💕
Here’s to more evenings like this - empowering, educational and raising some serious money for a great cause! #breastcancerawarness #breastcancernow #makeupmasterclass
2016. Worked my first @nyfw met @kellyosbourne (the sweetest), worked my last shift at @maccosmeticsuki and taught for the first time at @makeupforever Opened a makeup studio and every makeup was some form of colour or cut crease. What a ride. Gonna need a recount on the 10 years though, just how?! #2016 #throwback
My 2025 đź’«
A house move, turning 40, a bucket-list trip to see my favourite band on the other side of the world and major surgery.
2025 saw me growing my consultancy work and spending time on product development and training days — upskilling retail teams, mentoring and shaping brand strategies. Countless brides and good vibes. A masterclass for breast cancer now, and teaching and mentoring up and coming artists. I don’t take any of it for granted ❤️
Intentional decisions, knowing when to slow down and saying yes to good energy. Remembering it’s about the journey.
I’m heading into 2026 post-surgery with a clear focus on health, happiness and what really matters.
Thanks for being along for the ride, and happy new year to you all ❤️
Quick heads up: this post mentions reproductive health, surgery and fertility. If that feels heavy for you, please do what’s best for you and scroll past ❤️
So … tomorrow is the day I’ll be having my full hysterectomy. Whilst I’ve been getting things sorted, I’ve been thinking about the last 20 odd years of living with endometriosis and adenomyosis, conditions that, even in 2025, still manage to confuse a fair few people.
I’ve spent most of my adult life trying to convince people that the pain I was in wasn’t trapped wind, stress, or just part of being a woman. Spoiler: it wasn’t. It got me carted off in ambulances, wiped out on bathroom floors, and rescued from events because I couldn’t physically stand anymore. (Truly a glamorous era!) Meanwhile, the endo just kept doing laps around my organs like it had plans of its own.
I’ve lost count of the amount of surgeries I’ve had over the years. The endo always came back. The last few years it’s decided to have a wander and attach itself to my bowel and bladder too. Whilst my 2 and a half years on Zoladex injections have been mostly being positive, it’s time to say hello to the next stage of my life.
I know so many of us are struggling. You’re not being dramatic. You’re not overreacting. And no, having a baby won’t magically cure you – despite what some people might try to tell you.
Tomorrow is a big day, but it feels like a step towards finally getting my life back. I’m nervous, I’m hopeful, and honestly, I’m ready for life that isn’t run by pain.
Thank you to all my wonderful clients for being so lovely since getting my date through. Having to cancel commitments has been one of the worst part of the last few weeks. I’m so thankful for all your understanding. And thanks to those who have stepped in for me.
Sending love to you all 🫶
đź’« Jess đź’«
When someone tells me they’re “not a big makeup wearer”, my answer is always the same — you absolutely can have a look that still feels like you.
For Jess, I kept everything soft and refined: fresh, glowing skin and a touch of rosy pink. Subtle, effortless, beautifully just Jess.
If you’re planning your 2026 wedding and want makeup that enhances rather than overwhelms, I’m now taking bookings. Let’s create something that feels genuinely you on your day. Visit to get in touch.
