It’s a bit surreal to have chased a dream from Kansas on an uncertain and amorphous path to president of Reprise Records. Music is all that ever mattered. It’s what I loved and continue to love. I continue to live out the dream of working with artists, many years on now. In this case some of the greatest artists of all time in their respective genres. What an honor. One of the great joys of this dumb life is the time we brothers get to hang out together in our beautiful, heaven-sent record club. Props to Francois who started this whole mess a decade or so ago, it’s since become such an integral part of our lives and a preservation of what’s left of our sanity. I am incredibly thankful for Record Club. Record Club has been the longest and most successful commitment I’ve made in my entire life. Tonight, François bought us all Record Club hoodies. All hail Record Club. 🙌🏼
We sent Stella off to college this week. It wasn’t any easier than when Abby left, but we are equally proud.
