New level unlocked. 2024 is a year I will never forget. It saw the beautiful birth of my daughter Henley. It saw my 2 yr old son Leo grow into my best friend in the world. And professionally, it saw Warner Records breakthrough and claim its rightful seat at the table. I’ve never been more proud of a team than the one we have @warnerrecords . Standing On Business Defined!! @teddyswims I love you and I am so proud of you. You deserve and have earned every ounce of this victory. The longest climb (32 weeks!!) to number one by a solo male artist in the history of the @billboard hot 100 chart. Historic!! Working with you has been one of the most gratifying experiences of my life. We made big promises to each other over 4 years ago and now look. Can’t wait to see the next stop on this journey. @bensonboone You are the biggest new star in the world. You continue to sit atop the global 200 and hold the number 1 spot in a handful of markets including the UK! Never in my life have I seen an artist manifest his success the way you have. None of this is luck. You’ve done the work, you’ve waited your turn, and now that we are here, I know you are never leaving. All this talent and work ethic in such a young star. The world is yours my friend. I love you. Next stop #1 on the hot 100. Zach Bryan - are there even words to describe your rise to the top? It’s unlike anything I have ever seen. “Something in the Orange” remain in the top 50 for 703 straight days!!! while “I Remember Everything” holds in the top 10 hot 100 after debuting #1 213 days ago!! Not to mention your album debuting at #1 on the album chart. And you do none of this for accolades. You do it because you need to for survival. Writing, performing, and telling stories is the air you breathe and I know you’d do it whether the world was paying attention or not. But I am damn sure happy they did. Love you. But more than anything, this is a post to celebrate @warnerrecords . Over 5 years ago we all began the journey of revitalizing the most special brand in music TOGETHER. It’s been really fucking hard. At times, it’s felt impossible. So often it felt like this industry and the universe as a whole did not want to see us figure this out. But despite every challenge that was thrown at us, here we are. I’ve never been so proud of a group of people in my entire life. You all embraced ARTIST DEVELOPMENT as the key ingredient to breaking artists and look at results!! 3 in the top 10! Hats off to you all. I love you. So many more special artists to come!!

There may only be two of us on the cover but this is a testament to our incredible artists and the best label team in the world @warnerrecords . WR is a diverse music company filled to the brim with music lovers, music experts, and the fiercest collection of champions for artists I have ever met. Fans of artists don’t care about market share, they only care if you’ve made their lives better and that’s the guiding principle every day. What have we done to make the lives of our artists better? What have we done to make the fan experience better? What have we done for each other to make this the best place in the world to come to work? That’s the culture at Warner Records and our doors are always open for artists who want to be challenged but always heard, supported, and trusted, and are willing to not skip steps on the journey from solo performances in front of the mirror to playing the biggest venues in the world, and to future executives who want to have a front row seat in developing and nurturing the next great era of stars and world class talent. We promised Mo Ostin we’d make him proud. I hope he is. Jobs not done!!!!

I can’t let this day pass without memorializing this milestone. Today, @teddyswims made history as his ubiquitous smash “Lose Control” achieved what no other song in history has accomplished. 100 weeks on the @billboard hot 100! First entering the chart on August 26, 2023 at #99 and then embarking on a 32-week climb (also a record) to hitting number 1 on March 30, 2024. And now, 100 weeks later it is still in the top 10 at number 9. 🤯🤯🤯🤯 Teddy has been signed to @warnerrecords for nearly 6 years. He’s more than earned this moment. And before walking through our doors, Teddy went through every imaginable hardship to prepare himself for this journey. I pray every A&R and label person gets to have at least one Teddy Swims in their career. Gracious in success. Gracious in failure. Unbelievable talent. But an even more unbelievable human being. He shares, he listens, he stands firm on what he believes, he makes room for everyone. He defines salt of the earth. I am forever changed for the better for having Teddy Swims in my life and this would be true whether we had ever achieved this success or not. I will always have your back Teddy. Always. And Sean, watching you grow as an A&R through this development process is also one of the most gratifying experiences of my career. They say don’t meet your heroes. Don’t listen. Last night I got to spend time with one of mine and it was extremely tight. American Utopia is one of the best live experiences I’ve ever had. @davidbyrneofficial thank you for making some of the best music the world will ever know. Everyday I’m searching for an artist as fearless, adventurous, and experimental as you’ve been. And the fact that you are a Nonesuch/Warner (and previously Sire) artist to this day blows my mind.
