The Sunset Kaleidoscope - Commissioned by @thedolab for @libfestival 2024. This installation was created from 48 individually hand-folded sheets of theater light gel. Facing the sunset on the western edge of the lake, the pieces cast colorful layers of shadow that expand and contract as the sun moves across the sky and through the artwork.

This sculptural fixture by Jeff Morical Studios draws inspiration from origami satellite folds — a striking touch for this mid-century Scandinavian home. #blackbriar #modernlighting #interiordesign #scandinavianhome #designinnovation #midcenturystyle #architectureanddesign

This one’s been years in the making 💭🛼🎨 When I first dreamed up this idea, I imagined rolling art tours through the city — led by someone who really knows the neighborhood. Enter Jeff: mural tour host, local gallery owner, skater/biker, and Culver City Arts District neighbor — the perfect guide to take us on a journey through the stories written on these walls. Our “Skate & Explore” series is about moving through the world with new eyes — wondering what’s just around the corner, connecting with the culture and community, and leaving places better than we found them. We had almost 50 people out with us today— brightening up the street, cleaning up trash along the way, and soaking up stories to take home and share 🫶 Much love to @jeffmorrical and @parksproject_culvercity for helping us bring this dream to life. This is what it’s all about & we’re just getting started 🙂‍↔️
