Twenty years ago Jeff McKee was a student at Rollins College while also being a pro wakeboarder, and I was his new roommate doing what I could as the new photographer/writer for @alliancewake . We found ourselves out at The Projects (@theboardingschool ) a bunch back then, taking advantage of the private lakes and always-glassy conditions. Iād often shoot from a tube because running two boats in the small lakes never worked well. Back then I was rocking a plastic bag water housing that could hold a flash, and we always came away with something cool during sunsets. As long as it was in focus, somewhat properly exposed and a cool grab, we didnāt care about crooked horizons š¤£.
