Two years ago I was sitting in my car after 13 hours on Longs Peak, no summit, legs gone, wondering if my body would ever let me do the things I wanted to do.
August 22nd, 2025 I did it in 8 hours. Solo. 14.44 miles reaching 14,259 feet.
Same mountain. Different me.
People only see the summit photo. They don’t see what it took to get a body that could actually make that climb — the PT, the early mornings, the slow rebuilding. Shoutout to @flexingpt for being part of that journey.
If you’re still in the chapter where the mountain wins don’t quit. You’re just in training. 🏔️

We used AI as a render engine. Real actors. Real performances. Assets we licensed or built ourselves.
AI didn’t create this. It processed what humans made.
Michelle is the only AI character — by design. She’s part of our exploration into how human actors and artificial characters can collaborate in storytelling.
This is our proof of concept.
We’ll be sharing behind-the-scenes this week to break down our process — and the future of filmmaking we believe in.
We built a majority of our models and environments in Cinema 4D and Unreal Engine, giving AI real, authored worlds to work from — not guesses pulled from the internet.
Even the props were handmade or licensed 3D models.
No scraping. No stealing.
Just artists, tools, and an evolving pipeline.
The future and next step:
Training our own models using artist-consented data we control — alongside locally run AI systems that keep the creative process in the hands of filmmakers.

What if characters outlived their final scene, not through reboots, but through ongoing moments fans could actually follow?
Imagine a character like Star-Lord (Guardians of the Galaxy) living on after the final film. Posting reels, dropping in-world updates, interacting with fans years later. The actor still owns their likeness, earns royalties, approves every use. Fans get something optional: moments with characters they already love, on their own terms.
As a kid, I would’ve lost my mind if I could follow the Power Rangers between episodes. That kind of continuity is genuinely exciting to me.
We’re obviously in the wild west right now. I’m using AI to explore visual effects and entertainment, treating it as an evolving tool, not a shortcut. It’s fascinating and imperfect and it changes daily.
Here’s how we’re actually building this: real actors, real performances. 3D models in Maxon C4D and Unreal Engine for structure and composition. Those renders feed into Nano Banana Pro as reference. JSON prompts for precision, not guesswork. AI becomes a render engine we control.
Then there’s Michelle, fully synthetic, no actor behind her, built from the ground up. She’s not a deepfake. She’s a new kind of character.
Michelle stirred controversy, which I understand. But she’s not fundamentally different from creating an avatar in a game. This is just the moment when those ideas crossed into social media and storytelling.
I don’t know exactly where this goes. I do know the ethics matter as much as the tech. I want AI to expand what creators can do, while the people who build these worlds still get to build them.
Thank you @designobserver for the article.
Meet Michelle.
Talented, expressive, and delivers… sometimes 🤣
She’s also A.I. and as a director, this is my playground to test performances, build scenes, and push storytelling forward, while educating that AI is just another toolkit for cinema, the same way VFX has always been but with a little extra brain power.
