Static Session #4 - “Fall Like A Feather” started out in October 2024 as an Instrumental Folk Punk song inspired by Frank Turner. It sat for a year before the verses came to me. And then a few months later, the chorus. It kept getting faster and more emotional, so I wrote a bridge this week to ground it a little bit. Just waiting for the ending to round it off. Can’t WAIT to record this one with full instrumentation! Thanks to @dippelka for helping me on this one!! 😊❤️🔥

Something new we did this year after @thisisnotcroydonfest was throw together a very last minute/unofficial Sunday night after party at a local bar. Some of our favorite people brought their acoustic guitars along and played some original music in an open mic type format. Then they all got together and played a bunch of covers and we had one big sing-a-long.

It was raw, it was organic, it was punk rock. It was the absolute perfect ending to an already incredible weekend. One of the best times I have ever had in my life, tbh. The feedback we’ve gotten from the venue, the performers, and the attendees has been surreal. Like for some this was life changing and hearing that makes every effort I take to do these things worth it.

If you are local, look out for more of this to come. We need so many more nights like this with our friends. An escape like no other.
