To get ready for my big show âGoing Back To Fairfaxâ tomorrow night launching the JD Shultz Arts Scholarship at Fairfax High, I painted a fun mural on the windows to my gallery. It took me right back to 1987, when I was using stencils with my artwork. Itâs such an honor to create this the day after legendary LA artists, Shepard Fairey, Risk, and Retna created their new murals next door in the fame yard on Melrose. Enjoy the clip to my new Human Brother song âCali Loveâ. @obeygiant@riskrock@retna_art@jdshultzgallery@thefameyard@human_brother
Woke up to some great news. After 15 years of my art all over Guitar Center Hollywood, my new painting of Blu DeTiger is hanging in the main room right above Eddie Van Halenâs actual guitars behind glass.
Iâd say this dream Iâve had since the day the RockWalk museum in the front of the store opened in 1985 is really coming true. There are now over 30 paintings of mine hanging in their flagship store! @guitarcenter@guitarcenterfoundation@bludetiger@chromeo@jdshultzgallery #guitarcenter
