The plan: set a PR and give everything at

Two years since the last road marathon at
@londonmarathon , Manchester served as a total shift from recent mountain ultras. While those events provide long times on the routes and elevation, but this was completely different focusing on speed.
The crowds and atmosphere provided a well-needed boost, but some seriously deep digging was required toward the end to stay on track and give everything.
This ability of digging deep, built over countless hours on ultra routes proved vital in crossing the line minutes ahead of the target—taking 10 minutes off the previous marathon PB.
Time for some rest before training begins for the last big event of the year:
