hey cuties, show happening thurs 27th of november at the one and only hundred years gallery (even if i could book anywhere else i wouldn't want to). three sets... a duo of me with field recording obsessive, hedgehog band's very own aura farmer, flynn mchardy (Superpang). expect a debut of a certain mechanical snare drum contraption of mine... world building savant, object tinkerer, the omnipresent agata genissel (CMRS) and improv mainstay, object enthusiast, ed shipsey (dog's paw trio, egg and crisp), co-organiser of the fabled sound/poetry series hard work a meeting of many dendrites of the _scene_ for the meager price of a tenner or less if you can't afford it!

delighted to annouce that i will be organising and playing in a show at channing murray next sunday featuring free improvisation, noise, synthesis, collage, etc. –– we will be bringing in spring with an appetite for listening, oddities, sound, and a grain of self-reflection on my part after realising i have been putting off organising this since there were leaves on the trees last year. but now after a long season of quiet i hear them rustling again! acts: Frank Danger (Richard M Coulter) Santos Medina Walker / Wesley Heywood Shchebetov (Jeff Fang, Owen Vaughan, Joseph K) doors at 7, there is a $5 cover otd (venmo, cash, whatever) but all money made will go toward aid for Gaza. hope to see you there! this will be a very special one! :)

hello all, doing this for the first time in years to say: 1) hello 2) @yourbarreleye are finally releasing our debut record "one eye glitters", which many of you have heard on tape already, on all possible digital shithouses tomorrow, march 9th! we can't promise a synchronous release everywhere, but it will be on bandcamp for certain, where there will also be more cassettes (though not the extra special black-and-white ones). give it a listen & tell us what you think :-) 3) ecm (hao and i) released our first tape last month "if you smile, i smile" on the magical @moltfluid (link is in bio) and will be playing two shows in the next couple months @hundred_years_gallery alongside several other splendid people – expect guitar n 'lectronics wǔxiá 4) we had a wicked time at our shows in illinois, especially at the ever-friendly @echo_chamber.cu (both barreleye and @oshminda ) and, though late, i wish to thank dozens and dozens of you lovelies for turning up in snow and -15°C! 5) peace and goodbye!
