I’ve never taken a Palm sound so seriously, Stank Face and all! Our New single THREADS OF LIFE with @coneofconfusionband recorded in Coogee Beach, inspired me to run outside the studio and find a dead palm leaf to use as a percussive texture for the track. This was one of the funnest moments of the recording with @plugthatjackin and the rest of the crew @remisdelirium , @itsthesaxman , @jamesgrandison_ & the magical @a.p.chowdhury You can’t capture these moments with AI. You could fake it, but Music is to be lived, Music is to be performed, Music is there to feel inspired and do what Humans do best…. Create, Express, Connect & And Reconnect . Fresh off earning a 2025 Australian Good Food Guide hat, Maiz will be one of the first to serve Forged from this Saturday (07/07/2025). And, of course, it’s a dish that delivers their philosophy, on a plate. Honouring Mexico’s deep-rooted connection to corn, embracing bold, underused ingredients like huitlacoche, and cooking with consciousness — all are brought to life on a plate of cultured Japanese quail foie gras, flat iron steak, huitlacoche beurre noir, and blue corn. Officially 100% Mexican + 100% Aussie : My purpose in life goes beyond a nationality or a country defined by borders. I have a deep respect for culture and what that culture means regardless of where my feet touch land. As long as I walk in this life, acceptance of All in peace will be forever in my heart. Diversity is a gift . It’s in nature and it’s part of who we are. Thanks to this land for giving me what today I’ve become. Thanks to the land I left behind, for giving me direction , purpose, perspective and a whole lot of heart to be both at the same time. I am still here, I am still there.
