Linear sound redesign project I developed about 2 years ago. Experimented with WWISE this summer and recreated the soundscape in non linear format (second slide).
Learned lots the past 2 years.
First video is unfinished, but still proud! In the midst of redesigning different games for a fresh start with new knowledge and skills I learned🙂↔️
Thanks @waseemvydyarakath for making me intro!
A project I shot over a year ago.
Told through found footage, IMWT is an ode to all whose innocence has been exploited by the male gaze.
Sexual assault and harassment is such a taboo topic to discuss around the youth and adults alike. It’s a hard topic to digest and everyone has their own pace at confronting and processing it—directing IMWT was my way of confronting this endemic; and finally sharing this to friends, family, and strangers alike has been a long awaited process.
Arabella is me, Arabella is everyone who can relate.
Special thanks to @johnnymperez for taking such beautiful bts pics!
Giving equal thanks to the cast and crew who helped me tell such a hard to digest story.
Little teaser at the second slide. :)

Film synopsis:
Arabella is your typical college student, but is ill-fated after meeting with a colleague who decides to force himself on her without her consent. Arabella shares her story to a person of authority but is immediately dismissed in her "allegations" and is gaslighted to think she imagined all of it.

This past year I was lucky enough to collaborate with directors: Nikolas Welchel, Tonny Yang, Nandita Goel, and Sepideh Khosrowjah, in putting together some of the most endearing films I’ve worked on.

SPCL THANKS to BAY AREA DIGITAL ARTS.
Inspired by the handful of CRT TV’s that live in the SFSU creative arts basement & the conversation on ethics, my goal of this film was to bring to light the unethical treatment U.S. citizens have undergone and continue to undergo under government research and medical operations.
Really big thanks to everyone involved in helping make this film come to life! Endlessly thankful🫶
Also, shoutout Nik for the endless hours of VFX editing!! And Tonny for that dope barrel roll. They did that!!
2 years later and cable management hasn’t gotten any better, but hey, at least my playing has!
Still working on my rhythm n counts, maybe in 2 years I’ll get that :)
This is how important roomtone is!
First 36 seconds showcases no dialogue editing and no sound design aspects. The last 36 seconds incorporates some noise reduction I did during the dialogue, some sound design aspects, room reverb, more EQing, and a track of roomtone to conceal the audio cuts.
I was lucky enough to sound mix this project "MAHAL" directed and written by Nathan Naur (@nathanaur ). T'was and amazing cast and crew!
If you need a sound mixer, dialogue editor, or sound designer, hmu!
Currently learning: Black Summer, RHCP solo
Counts r way off and totally using the wrong tone, but hey, I’m havin’ fun with it :,)
I used to avoid the tremolo effect at all costs, but wow does it give off a pretty tone. I also tend to stray away from using the pic + learning solos, but I felt BOLD today lol. Anyways, if serotonin had a sound, it would sound like this !

Directors note:
What makes this production so special to me is that every single person on this set has believed in me in ways that I've never believed in myself, which is the entire reason why I was inspired to put this project together! On top of that, each individual on this set is aspiring to find a professional role in the bit they were assigned for, in this production. I am telling you, every single person that I have listed, they all are the most ambitious and talented people I've ever met. The world needs to know their names. Truly, this production has been a learning experience and I am SO excited to show the world the end product.
