Getting straight to it, writing this “about me” felt like a slow, painful death. I don’t like to write or talk about myself, so here we go. I’m most comfortable working “quietly” behind the scenes... joking, I’m anything but quiet. I’m not a spotlight person. I thrive one-on-one or in small groups. At the heart of it all, I value true love in all my relationships. Depth over surface, realness over façade.
I didn’t grow up knowing interior design was a career, I discovered it much later. In so many ways, design has always been part of my story. Our home was filled with found treasures and spaces that felt warm and lived in. From a Polish upbringing full of culture and curiosity, design has always been in my bones. I chased success the “traditional” way: MBA, corporate America. But fulfillment? Nowhere in sight. In 2014, I walked into my first design class and everything changed. By 2018, J Beget Designs opened its doors. A boutique studio crafting luxe, soulful spaces for people who want their homes to feel like art, curated by stories of their travels, their life lived, and a sanctuary all in one.
I want to introduce my signature service, Studs to Rugs®, is design without limits. This comprehensive offering reflects our passion for managing every detail of your journey — from small spaces to large, from the foundation to the final flourishes. We weave story, culture, and a hint of wanderlust into every detail. Our best projects come from clients who hand us the reins and let us work our magic 🪄 because trust makes all the difference. That’s where we shine.
