A huge part of me could barely comprehend what I was watching. Massive bait balls, stud mahi, and later in the swim, striped marlin and sea lions. So much diversity of life all in one place. As all of the action unfolded in the span of a 10 minutes, I swam back to the boat with a feeling of awe that will stay with me for an eternity

The year started off less than ideal with the loss of my childhood dog Marley, but managed to check off a lot of firsts this year with highlights being running my first marathon, starting a new business @nuttbuttsfishing and experiencing Oktoberfest in Munich with some of my oldest friends. Stoked to be here with you all and keeping the good times rolling.

Had an absolute pleasure being a part of the “Dark Keys” trip with the @darkseas boys in December. Seeing the Keys during this time of the year was such a change from when we usually head south in June. Different sights, different sounds, and different weather conditions made chasing the bite with these guys a really unique experience.
Thank you to @salt.and.savagery.fishing for lining up the opportunity with @hawkscayresort and @hawkscaymarina along with @tailwalker_sportfishing and @tarpon_time for teaching us the ways. Always a great time with this crew, it’s truly a blessing to be able to kick it with yall!
