@starfishbicycles brought this bashguard design i had in my head for a while to life earlier this year. Seeing how they locally manufacture this super fancy carry-cage with a high pressure water gun i quickly sent my sketches and got them made the same way. 🔫 🩶 another batch will come during summer and will be available through Starfish

The brakes are really bad and the 7-speed trigger shifter has to be pushed forward and slightly upward to not just slip through. Both wheels need to be trued - rearwheel actually needs a new rim I think, after an encounter with a curb in morning traffic few years ago. Front tyre also has a weird bump. The freewheel is squeeking and the hubs run a bit rough after the winter. Also there is play in the bottom bracket. The drivetrain is worn - even the chainring and pulley wheels - and the bearings in the pedals need adjustment. The headset has been either too tight or slightly loose since forever because the crown race is from a different manufacturer. Grips are really nasty and sticky.
This bike is perfect for me but I wouldnt lend it to a friend.
@bedovelo Twin-Fix trackbike. Every time I took out this bike I was bothered by the fact that I didnt make use of the s&s coupling that sits on the frame - until now! 🥋😌💆♂️
A bike i found few years ago on the local second hand market. Turned out it was sold ridicolously cheap off a bankrupt bikeshop chain in 2015. Originally it came with a 2-speed crankset - hence the name. The pre-owner couldnt find - or didnt wanna pay - for the replacement of the worn out and very special bottom bracket that came with those cranks. Luckily it could be swapped for a standard square taper repair box.
