Jay Jarome, originally from Bribie Island (QLD), is a soulful vocalist, songwriter, and multi instrumentalist channeling a unique blend of Soul, Funk, Blues and R&B. After receiving a scholarship to study songwriting at the UTAS Conservatorium, he quickly rose as one of lutruwita/Tasmania’s most adored acts, moving from busking to bars and the festival circuit. Now based in Naarm/Melbourne, Jay is putting the final touches on his debut album, while also performing and collaborating with artists including Velvet Bloom and Kutcha Edwards. On stage, he’s pure electricity - delivering deep grooves, transcendental jams, and powerful vocals that leave audiences deeply connected.
