Hell yes! A huge 2:28 post-cancer PR this morning at the @millenniumrunning Cinco de Miles 5k. I was honestly surprised by my time since I hiked a 4000 footer and accidentally pr’d a training run this week. Oops! My first two miles were faster than I intended (7:58, 8:01) but mile 3 was exactly at goal pace (8:50) and included 2 minutes of walking. Prior to cancer treatment, I was hanging out between 25 and 25:30 for the 5k, so it’s nice to see that I’m not too far away with today’s 26:07. #run #runningcommunity #runningmotivation #5k #pr
Stunner of a day to bag Jamie’s first 4000 footer. Mount Tecumseh never disappoints. We had a little bit of ice to deal with, but were rewarded with blue skies and warm temps. #hikenh #hikethewhites #nh4000footers #nh48
Z E R O intentions of getting another PC-PR today but here we are! 33 seconds gone and it was the first time I saw a sub-9 overall place in, honesty, I cannot remember. I felt like I was running easy the entire time. Prayers up that I can do this again on Sunday!

Listen I don’t make the rules here, but I will happily follow them!!!
Boston 2024 was a day that changed my life. How could it not, it’s the freakin’ Boston Marathon! I raised over 15k for @dfmcrunners@danafarber , a cause that is so dear to my - ahem - chest. I will never forgot taking the right on Boylston, just one year after finishing chemotherapy radiation and double mastectomy, and four months after reconstruction. Boston showed me just how much grit I’ve got! So enjoy this #tbt and I’ll see you at mile 19.2 in two weeks!!!
(And now I wanna run for DF in 2027 😬😬😬)
If I knew I was going to get a :26 second 5k PC-PR, I would have picked a cuter outfit!
I wasn’t trying to PR, just to run a little harder than usual. Still took my walk breaks. The sun felt so damn good!
Running without the chemo weight and side effects from Verzenio/Zometa feels like running on a cloud!

My best friend is EIGHTEEN. Happy, happy, happy birthday @jamieduncan0318 . I am so proud of all you’ve accomplished during your childhood. I can’t wait to watch you take on adulthood.
Back on the East Coast called for a trip to one of my favorite mountains @loonmtnresort located in Lincoln, NH.
Here are the 10 things that keep me coming back for more:
1. It’s incredibly easy to traverse all three peaks. You can take one trail from the top of North peak and get yourself over to South Peak chair. Very little pushing needed here.
2. Nothing beats sitting on the Adirondacks on the Camp III deck, sipping on a @lawsonsfinest with the sun on your face.
3. Hiking the “secret trail” to feed the grayjays is a Disney-like experience.
4. Did I mention the deck at Camp III?
5. Loon offers an adorable train that runs between the two main lodges. Kids love it!
6. The energy and vibes at the Paul Bunyon Room are always top notch!
7. The terrain itself is challenging and fun! Most runs are a little over a mile, with turns and good side hits.
8. Still thinking about that bluebird Camp III day.
9. The high-speed Kanc8 bubble lift is a nice touch, with heated seats. I only wish it went further up the mountain.
10. The food at the Octagon is surprisingly great. I’ve had stir fry veggies, chili, chicken sandwiches and huge salads. But don’t worry, you can still get yourself some ski lodge chicken tenders!!!

We - family of four - chose to stay closer to @keystone_resort than the other @epicpass mountains and here’s why I have no regrets:
• We stayed in a massive 3/2 condo with a hot tub for 8 nights under 4K. Everyone had their own space, we had a large kitchen and cozy nights in front of the fire. We were a 3 minute drive from the resort. Similar accommodations closer to Breck were twice the price.
• FREE parking less than a five minute walk from the Gondola and the super fun River Run Village. However, I did love parking at The Stables garage at Breck - covered parking across the street from Peak 8 was well worth the $50 reservation.
• The runs were longer and steeper at Keystone. 9 runs at Keystone got around 12-14 miles and 12k+ vert. My stats at Breck were a lot lower (but being my first time there, I may have simply missed the nice, long leg burners). I also found Keystone easier to traverse and had more lodge options.
• Two words: night skiing! A rarity out West that we gladly took advantage of.
If you’re looking for a family and budget friendly way to ski out West, Keystone checks all the boxes. And Breck is less than 30 minutes away, so you can’t lose!
