Hi, I’m Jayden - this is my story.
I was lost for a long time.
Growing up, I was bullied a lot. School was a nightmare I had no direction, no drive, and no idea what I wanted to do with my life. I hated most of it.
The only thing that gave me purpose was football. That was my outlet. It gave me discipline, taught me how to show up, how to work hard, and most importantly gave me a reason to keep going.
After school, I was bouncing between jobs, partying every weekend, drinking, doing drugs, just trying to escape whatever pain I was carrying. I felt stuck. Numb. Like I was going nowhere.
Eventually, I hit a point where I knew I had to make a change.
I applied for my Cert 3 & 4 in fitness and honestly, that decision changed everything for me. It lit a fire in me I hadn’t felt before. I knew this was what I was meant to do.
Halfway through the course, I got offered a job at the gym we were studying at. It felt like everything was finally aligning.
I moved towns. Left behind the weekend cycles, the people, the habits not out of hate, but because I needed a fresh start.
Since then, it hasn’t all been smooth. I’ve gone through a tough breakup after moving to a new city. I’ve worked jobs I hated. I’ve moved cities again. But every time, I’ve come back to the gym and to football. It’s kept me grounded.
Now, I’m a gym Manager, still playing football (almost 20 years deep), I’ve been training for almost 18 years and building something special, a life that’s actually mine.
If you’re feeling lost I get it. I’ve been there. You’re not alone. I’ve also met some amazing people along the way 🫶
You can always change your story, DM me if you want to change yours.
In the meantime enjoy some throwback pics from the past xx

Anyone who’s played football knows the feeling the day after a brutal game…
Body feels sore, stiff and struggling to move
Use these tips next time to help fast track your recovery and get you ready for the following week
Remember, it’s important to nail the basics first before anything else. (Sleep, hydration, diet, movement)
Follow for more recovery & performance tips 💪🏻
Plenty of early mornings & late nights.
11 years of coaching.
Here are the 3 biggest lessons I’ve learned.
My favourite is #3:
You can have all the knowledge in the world, but if you can’t build relationships to deliver it then it becomes useless.
It’s a tough industry at times but very rewarding if you put in the work.
Why I work out the day after a game:
I want to get some movement and blood flowing through my body.
I’m in and out of the gym in 45 minutes or less. Focusing on upper body, allows my legs to recover and get ready for the week without putting too much strain on the body.
Sunday upper body session:
1A) BB Shoulder Press – 3x5
1B) Chin-Ups – 3x10
2A) Deadstop DB Tricep Extensions – 2x8
2B) DB Hammer Curls – 2x10
3A) Ab Wheel Rollouts – 2x8
This routine and getting some steps in makes sure I can go again for another week!

“Must be nice.”
I’ve heard this plenty of times when I’m training for an event.
What you don’t see is everything behind the scenes making time to train, meal prep, recovery.
It’s non-negotiable.
I don’t want to show up on race day knowing I could’ve done more.
10 weeks out. The countdown is on 🧱
Congratulations to everyone who raced in Brisbane!
It’s fantastic to see how much HYROX has grown in Australia over the past couple of years. The best part about the race is anyone can do it!
Watching the races over the weekend gets me really excited for Sydney, countdown is definitely on 💪🏻
