Two of the sharpest minds in the creator economy. One stack of questions they've never seen. 60 seconds to answer. Then the other has to decide: agree, or challenge.
This is Episode 1 of 'Trade Secrets,' a new series where two experts get tough questions, and no place to hide. Comment 'SECRETS' for a link to the full episode in your inbox!
the sustainability crisis inside the social media profession isn’t talked about enough. 👏🏾
i struggled so much with my mental (and physical) health in the early days of my career, and that’s simply because the support and infrastructure weren’t there.
i don’t want this next generation of social media pros to go through that.

your plan is probably not going to work, and that’s okay. 👏🏾
this road to entrepreneurship isn’t linear. even when you have a plan, there’s a 99% chance it won’t go the way you think.
learning how to pivot has taught me to be agile, think quick, trust my decision-making, and most importantly—do it scared. 💜
and we’re live, b*tches! 🙌🏾
registration is officially open for my ✨chronically online virtual social media summit✨ (presented by @teachable ). 🥳
whether you’re a brand pro, agency pro, or creator, this summit was designed to tackle the real conversations about what it actually means to work in social.

👉🏾 how to go from social pro to creator

if you can’t cry on the feed, then where the hell else can you go? 😭
while i understand that crying on main or just expressing your feelings in general can feel uncomfortable for people, i think creators should be given a little more grace. social media is already overwhelming as an everyday user, so imagine what it’s like when it’s your job.
in my opinion, if social media is space for us to share all the other parts of our lives, we should be allowed that vulnerability. what do you think? 🤔
ps: a big shoutout to @isaiahxavier and @coreymjones3 for being vulnerable with me. i don’t take it for granted. 💜
🗣️ GIRD YOUR LOINS

sessions and speaker announcements will be announced soon. 👀
if you want to be the first to know when tickets drop, comment ‘SUMMIT’ and I’ll send you the link. 🔗

Which plan gets your vote? 🌮
this meeting probably could’ve been an email, but where’s the fun in that? 🤭
i sat down with laura lorenzetti, @linkedin ’s vp of global editorial, to spill the tea on creator monetization, features on the platform, upcoming product launches and more. ☕
we even played a game of date, marry, divorce. yes, a safe-for-work version of… well, you know. 😏
i am humbled, thrilled, and excited to announce that this was one of my favorite interviews yet. thank you, laura, for taking the time to yap with me, and to @alisnider and gianluca for the invitation to the ✨briefcase hq✨. 💜💼
i am a multiple-stream-of-income-truther. 🫡
if there was any advice i would give to any other creators or entrepreneurs (aside from ‘do what brings you joy’), it’s to diversify your income streams. 🤌🏾
thank you again to @kbousq for including my pov in your @forbes piece.
