After creating a film for the newly reopened Arches Project I pitched a simple idea - to capture real testimonials to prove the impact that The Arches & Bridge Festival have on the local commuity.
A few weeks ago, I spent the day travelling across the North East, filming the people who actually make the festival what it is. These clips aren’t just content — they’re tools.

Postcards from Tynemouth Market.
It's been a while since I took my camera out with me, and I've been seeing a lot of these 'postcard' type carousel posts so thought I'd give it a go and capture the atmosphere at the market at the weekend. I really enjoy just walking through the market on a Saturday or Sunday with a coffee from @regularjoscoffee catching up with @brian.eyler and just soaking up the hustle bustle of the place.
First proper outing with the new Nikon ZR paired with the Sigma 18-35 art lens too. These videos were all filmed in 6k NRAW and down sampled to 1080 to avoid compression. Absolutely love this camera, definitely gonna do some more stuff like this with it in the coming months. Been a while since I did any photo/video for fun, praying for better weather soon and I'll be out a lot more.
I think next time I'll use my Rode Video Mic Pro for more directional audio to capture voices more clearly. I used the Rode Video Mic Stereo on this occasion.
