Day 24,25 & 26 of photographing every sunrise and sunset until you forget to post on Instagram.
A mix of colour and grey in the sky over the last few days.
The project is coming to an end soon and I've not totally* lost my mind to sleep delirium.
*Hopefully training my body to naturally wake before sunrise after 3 hours sleep doesn't take too long to recover from.
Only 2 more difficult sunrises to photograph with sub-optimal sleep.
Day 23 of photographing every sunrise and sunset until I
become obsessed with the bird song in the morning.
Other than one planned shot every morning and evening I don't plan the other images so results vary depending on lens choice and what colour the sky is, I make a snap decision and head out into the park.
Just one week to go until the project is finished, I'm very likely to continue photographing sunrise at least once a week and continue the sunset walk as a daily ritual.
The mornings have been brutal sometimes only getting 2 hours sleep before the alarm goes off walking to the kitchen window to see what colour sky is at dawn has been the best part of my day.
Day 22 of photographing every sunrise and sunset until you decide to mess around with a macro lens.
A bit of a grey morning and evening so I took some close up detail shots in the morning and walked in the dene in the evening until the birds stopped singing.
Side note Gymskin is almost certainly an industry plant but this song is massive now.
Follow that tune bird song edition.
Day 19 of photographing every sunrise and sunset until it rains and everything is grey again.
I experimented with some flash and infa red photography this morning. We got a little glimpse of red on the horizon to match red on the horizon to match the morning mood.
Day 17 of photographing sunset because sometimes I need to sleep.
When I first missed a sunrise I was going to restart the project but after speaking to a friend they said you don't need to be so hard on yourself. I've not missed many and I've got an idea of how I will fill the blanks in the final piece.
I'm planning to hit everyone for the next 13 days but if I miss one I'm not gonna beat myself up as not long ago I was genuinely thinking of quitting photography as a job so I could do it for the love of it again.
The whole point of this project was to get back into the routine of doing it for the love of it and having fun without client expectations, it's safe to say i'm in love with the game again.
Day 15 of photographing every sunrise and sunset until you fall asleep on the sofa at 6:30pm and miss the daily post.
Blue hour in the morning had insane bands of magenta in the sky.
Day 14 of photographing every sunrise until you have to call the Wildlife rescue services to try to catch an injured deer.
Not got the energy to how chaotic the last 24 hours have been.
What a fun and chaotic week.
Day 13 of photographing every sunrise and sunset until you naturally wake up before Sunrise without even needing your alarm clock.
I definitely pushed myself to the limit the last week in terms of minimal viable sleep but we move.
Top take away from this project so far is any routine is better none.
