Three great mates @samuel.prelc @jackson.mater & @macbrindley kicking off 2026 with a fantastic performance at a undisclosed location ✊🇦🇺 I was very happy with how the session at this punchy beach break went. At times the boys surfing was very tidy, with some strong moments that show they’re heading in the right direction. The main focus moving forward is manoeuvre selection in relation to the section in front of them. As we discussed, less is often more and when slow down slightly, they’re able to read the full shape of the wave and choose manoeuvres that better suit the section, rather than rushing and reacting too quickly. Consistent feedback on technique, along with continued work on mindset, preparation, discipline, and patience, will be key to their ongoing development, especially in competition environments.
