Iaido (Samurai) forms are incredibly graceful as revealed by my video and accentuated by John Williams' music. George Lucas based Star Wars lightsaber combat on this martial art. It took me three months of daily practice to get these moves somewhere near acceptable, while at the same time, developing the required filming techniques. Enjoy 🕊️

As mentioned in our other posts, all of our LORE events at the @puzzlehallinn #SowerbyBridge include floor spots for local singers & musicians - a format we trialled in December, which worked great, with 7-8 gig attendees also contributing a song or a tune; here are some of @jay1970 's fab photos from that night (thanks Jason!), and we'll share some vids in the coming weeks. If only a handful of people want to take part in a given week, there might be a chance for any individual to contribute several numbers (Roud, or otherwise!) that night; if we have loads of interest, it might be 1 each, and if we have more than we can accommodate we may prioritise people who haven't performed before, and also consider eg gender or age spread etc. We hope it's a great 'bridge' for building the local folk community, and enabling people to experience 'progression' from sessions to gig/open mic-type experience with an audience. #YorkshireFolkMusic #yorkshiregigs

My study of Picasso's Old Fisherman. I could tinker forever but I'll stop here. What a joy to gain such insight. Look out for it on a Puzzle Hall Community Pub wall very soon! (West Yorkshire, UK) Created with PaintingVR.

My latest piece, 'The Craftsman', is now hanging in pride of place in The Puzzle Hall Community Pub, Sowerby Bridge, West Yorkshire, England. The scene depicts the rebuilding of the 17th century pub and is set in the room where it now hangs. Cheers 🍻

My latest VR painting. A study of Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel - c1512, the Libyan Sibyl. The prophetic priestess called a 'seer' looks down upon the altar. Using #itspaintingvr

After 3 days of VR painting it's done. Referenced from one of my photos taken in glorious Whitby, UK. While working on the 15ft canvas I felt immersed in the scene, almost like being there again. Using PaintingVR
