Sometimes you just have to take a Friday morning and shut your computer, go downtown, and spend a couple hours with BOOKS! And art. And history. And tools. And friends.

Last November, N presented me with birthday tickets to see the Dirty Three and the show was last night and we watched in awe with two of my favorite people and for nearly three hours everything else paused and D3 are maybe the best band of my life.

Big thanks to @mactra and @jmoroz who welcomed me on their (quite different) podcasts recently to talk about some of my favorite things: listening, sound, collaborating, Audio Flux, plus we played a few rounds of “Name that Podcast” — my new favorite game (on @phantompowerpodcast ) and listening, sound, TimTam, why pets rule, and Audio Flux (on @furballconfidential ) Both episodes are out now, and perfectly timed to help get the word out for Audio Flux Circuit 07, no less! 🙌

What do TimTam, Pidgey and Fluxy have in common? None other than podcasting maven @jatomic - aka Julie Shapiro! When we found out that Julie has a lifelong love of animals and just adopted TimTam, we couldn’t resist a bonus episode. Julie opens up about the “happy chaos” that TimTam hath wrought and about Thurston, the dog that came before him and set such a high bar. She also tells us the story behind Fluxy, the feline logo for Audio Flux, the very cool audio art project Julie co-created and how the project has taken inspiration from our pets. So much good stuff in this convo, including all the info you need to know for the current round of Audio Flux, which just opened for submissions. Episode is in your Furball feed now! #pets #dogs #cats #podcast #podcasting
