🌸 𝑺𝑨𝑲𝑼𝑹𝑨 𝑴𝑨𝑻𝑺𝑼𝑹𝑰 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 🌸 | 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟭𝟭 | Presented by the Japan-America Society of Washington, DC! @jaswdc | A Premier Event of the overall National Cherry Blossom Festival! @cherryblossfest It was an absolute pleasure to be a volunteer 📸 photographer 📸 of this long-running festival for the FIRST time! Myself and 5 other volunteers were assigned by 𝗭𝗵𝗶 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗴 @firepphotography , the 𝗦𝘂𝗯𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 for @jaswdc . At four of its stages, we were fortunate to capture an impressive and colorful variety of acts/performances happening simultaneously. These were the 𝗦𝗔𝗞𝗨𝗥𝗔 stage, 𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗜𝗔𝗟 𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗦 stage, 𝗝-𝗣𝗢𝗣 stage, and 𝗖𝗔𝗣𝗜𝗧𝗢𝗟 stage. However, I was only assigned to the first three stages listed. 🌸 Welcome Atomi University students🌸 In March 2026, we welcomed our 13th cohort of short-term students from Atomi University!🌸 Thank you Atomi University, our students, host families, LCC faculty, volunteers, and community organizations!👏🏼 Special thank you to Keiko-san, LCC’s International Programs Specialist. You are what makes this program wonderful! Atomi University and Lower Columbia College offer a short-term, immersion program known as the “English & American Culture Program”.
