I painted Marty’s portrait in 2007 after our introduction, and reading his autobiography, “The Money Player”.
The painting was in my show at McCaig Welles Gallery in Brooklyn. Marty came to the show, and hung out all night!! Everyone loved him. He was looking razor sharp, charming ladies, and cracking people up. Old New York was in his bones.
It was always a pleasure to spend some time with Marty. He was a true king. Always cool. Always the best dressed. He was one of life’s greatest.
@rrobots introduced me to Marty, AND got me the show at @mccaigwelles gallery. I’m forever grateful. Thanks Nick ! ✌️❤️
