Huge thanks again to @hannahgoldfield for flying to Minnesota this summer and writing about the Great Minnesota Get-Together (aka @mnstatefair ) for @newyorkermag . Since 1979, we’ve been building a community that goes beyond cookies at @sweetmarthas . We hire 750 employees for the 12 days of the fair, and every year feels like camp. Couldn’t do it without our cookie fam and can’t wait to do it again next year ❤️

@jiyup was my first work wife at my first big girl job when I moved to NYC. It was a real Devil Wears Prada kinda place, and without her (and our work hub @eontyrellhuntley ), I would’ve been chewed up and spit right outta town. I was in awe of her quiet confidence, always chic style and unparalleled talent. She celebrated my kooks and championed my sense of self in a sea of conformity.
I was honored when she offered to make dresses for our wedding party 15 years later — to wear her art. It’s been amazing to follow your journey my Jiy Jiy, thank you for everything 🙏 @jiyup@verawang
