Hey Upper East Siders. Spotted: Pastor Jared welcomed with the most beautiful personalized mahjong set-up by NYC congregation member Cari Kuprenas, who’s living every tile lover’s fever dream. I’ve never met anyone who lives, breathes and worships mahjong quite like her. She even sleeps with a mahjong tile under her pillow! If Mahjong Megachurch had a New York cathedral, this might be it.

The congregation gathered to celebrate Pastor @jaredeng ’s birthday at Mahjong Megachurch. The automatic shuffling altars were out in full force, copious amounts of KBBQ were devoured, and hands were disciplined with mahjong pusher sticks. A little corporal punishment never hurt anybody! 🀄️👋🏼📏💨
