This album transitioned with me and became a sanctuary.
A collective invitation to remember who we are beneath survival, beyond bodies, beyond fear, deep into the soul.

which feels deeply full circle to me.
My very first project was called Paint Your Face, but at that time I still wasn’t able to truly paint myself into the world.
I was still hiding pieces of who I was.
This work was created alongside the beautiful producers and composers @apollonoir_ & @confuse_x

Dolls out
Sometimes life imitates art in the most unexpected, almost surreal ways.
I remember when I first started out in the music industry.
I was the kind of artist signed to Warner who would be called into the boss’s office and told I should be “less feminine to sell”.
And now look at me.
First, I did the opposite of everything I was told.
I deconstructed the trauma my early experiences in the industry had left on me experiences that deeply affected me and slowed down my transition.
Not because I wasn’t trans.
I’ve always been trans,
but because I didn’t feel safe yet.
I’m proud of where I am today, not just physically but mentally.
And the biggest success of my life has been dismantling the heavy, limiting expectations men tried to place on me—
the way they attempted to define my body, my work, my femininity.
I own it. Get over it.

La petite dictée curatée par le @centrepompidou pour le Cabaret Extra au grand palais✨
Avec @tal.madesta , nous avons imaginé un voyage dans nos univers, entre notre livre et ma musique, comme une réponse au passé portée par le chant.
Cette dictée était un prétexte pour capter l’attention, ouvrir un espace d’écoute et transmettre un message profondément politique : celui de la réalité des personnes trans aujourd’hui.
Une liste non exhaustive de ce que nous traversons, de ce à quoi nous faisons face, encore et toujours.
