My Scottie, Jesse, turned 4 years old today! He gets to run with his doggie friends at the park every afternoon but has been known to destroy squeaky balls so in return he is delivering flowers from @minifallsfarm in Chimayo to thank others for being kind🌸
On an Eastside walk yesterday saw this stunning carved door on a deep adobe wall which turns out to be artist Eli Levin's home and studio, a feast for the eyes🤎
@tesuquevillagemarket displays and sells Santa Fe Sense of Place, I think this means grab a glass of wine and read the Love Letters written by home owners and history in Foreword by @pwk26 and Introduction by @christian_waguespack ❤️🤎❤️🤎❤️🤎❤️
I want to send gratitude to all individuals and shops who have bought and sold my book. When I started this venture I had no idea how to create a book but with the consistent help of @motley8820 it became a reality.
Received this quite old handwoven wool pillow as an early Christmas present, lucky me, added an 1874 log cabin quilt from Faircloth and soon new curtains. Photo @fieldstudieseditions Fall is a time of change 🤎❤️🤎
Color in @schumacher1889 coral and white linen curtains add a glow and cozy feeling to the room. The antique French flour sacks @maisonsmithhome I opened up and had pieced together for coverlet. The Guatemala daybed is from Ranchos de Taos Antiques. The ticking fabric pillows are from Faircloth Adams in Santa Fe. Amazing how time flies on by! Myself and 4 others started @BuckarooBall 30 years ago for children at risk in Santa Fe. We learned about the needs of children that continues today, they need our help to thrive and grow since the first 5 years are the most impacted part of our lives. We also turned the event into fun fun fun at Eaves Ranch, our first year with @willienelson who
Played until 2am signing tee shirts, boots, hats while playing.
Our first year we donated 78% of all proceeds to the children!
I’ve been in Santa Fe for many years and helping children is the most rewarding experience I’ve had.
May we all remember our children and their future.🪶
An outstanding historic simple yet beautiful home in Santa Fe, a rarity it seems these days. Food was catered by Marja @palomarestaurant , it was as delicious as it was creatively displayed💖
