MELBOURNE: La Cave Privée at Bistro Guillaume. From May 18 to May 31st, a rare collection of wines drawn from Crown’s exclusive cellar will be available to sample by the glass or bottle. We tried a glass of 2018 Chablis premier Cru Butteaux - enjoyed with the butteriest of scallops, 2019 Meursault 1er Cru paired with Sydney Rock oysters and finished with a prestigious French burgundy - a 2016 Domaine Armand Rousseau Gevrey-Chambertin enjoyed with the most succulent duck and a superb crème brûlée. A decadent couple of hours to pause and celebrate the good things in life.
