British vogue cover star 🌟 Miss Bhavitha Mandava 🌟is all smiles for her first @britishvogue cover I first met Bhavitha back in November of last year before her she walked her now infamous Chanel show in New York. Beyond her striking features, the big doe eyes, her infectious laugh and the constant warmth of her smile. What truly captivated me was her story and personality. She spoke openly about her modelling career, her personal life and the realities of representation (or the lack of) within the industry. Please do read her interview with @chiomannadi , it’s such a compelling and thoughtful piece. It speaks to Bhavitha’s perspective as a south Asian woman navigating the industry. Although Bhavitha is the first solo south asian model to achieve this special moment of being on British vogue cover, she certainly will not be the last.
