@mist_rs mist_rs is a British rapper from Birmingham, whose real name is Rhys Thomas Sylvester. He is known for his introspective lyrics, cinematic music videos, and for being one of the first MCs from Birmingham to gain widespread UK recognition.
Born on 2 March 1992, Mist grew up in a multicultural area of Birmingham. He had a troubled youth and served a 14-month prison sentence for dangerous driving in 2014. He has stated that prison “made” him and gave him a purpose, leading him to pursue music seriously upon his release in 2015.
