Okay but… are we drinking coffee or writing poetry? 😅 Because one minute it’s: jasmine… citrus… dark chocolate… toasted almond… a whisper of berries… and the next minute someone’s like, “I just need this to function, pleeease.” And honestly? Both are valid. For some people it's all about the swirling, sniffing, trying to figure out if they're getting grapefruit or orange zest... For others? They just want their cup. Their moment. Their brain to turn on. And here’s the thing… taste is personal. wildly so. What tastes like berries to me might taste like “just coffee” to you. And that doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong. There’s absolutely no wrong way to love coffee. You can be here for the notes. You can be here for the caffeine. You can be here for the routine, the ritual, the quiet pause before the day starts. At Jamin, we care deeply about flavor — yes. But more than anything, we care that you enjoy it. Just… good coffee, however you meet it. #jamincoffee #coffee #kenyan #womensupportingwomen #smallbusiness

We need to think beyond the bean. I was sorting through some images the other day and had one of those… pauses. We talk about coffee like it starts with roasting and ends in a cup. Like everything before that is just… setup. But look at this. The cherry on the tree. Hands sorting through it. The green beans. The roasting. The bag that ends up in your kitchen. Somewhere along the way, we decided the bean is the thing. The hero. The point of it all. But it’s actually just a small part of the story. There’s the skin, the pulp, the husk… all the parts we’ve been calling “waste.” But I'm thrilled to see the change in conversations. People asking ... "waste to who?" Because back home, nothing really goes to waste. It goes back into the soil. Feeds the next season. Keeps the whole thing alive. It’s not a straight line. It never was. It’s a loop. A quiet, constant one. And I think we forget that when we’re this far removed from it. At Jamin, we’re kind of holding both ends of that story. From Mt. Elgon… to here in the Bay. Growing, partnering, roasting, sharing. Not perfectly. But in conversation with it all. So yes — enjoy your coffee. Please. But also… just know there’s a whole life happening around that bean. #jamincoffee #coffee #smallbusinesssupport

Palo Alto, you showed up. Our 7th Equinox location - and our first time in Palo Alto and… wow. So many bags of coffee found new homes, countless conversations and connections, and so much love for what we’re building. Moments like these remind us why we do this - the coffee, yes… but also the people, the stories, the warmth. We’ll be back 🧡 #jamincoffee #equinoxpaloalto #equinox #coffee

I want to give a shout out to @jamin.coffee which is a coffee company owned by women. Their coffee beans are grown in Kenya and roasted in Berkeley, CA. I just met the owners - a mother/daughter team ❤️ - at the gym. This coffee company supports small farming cooperatives in Kenya especially those run by women. #supportsmallbusiness #supportblackbusinesses #womenowned #kenyancoffee #berkeley

The world drinks coffee. Women grow a lot of it. So here’s something interesting about coffee in East Africa. A huge amount of the work behind every harvest — planting, picking, sorting, processing — is done by women. In some places, it’s well over half the labor on a coffee farm. And yet historically, far fewer women have owned land or had control over the income from the coffee they help produce. It’s one of those contradictions that makes you pause. At Jamin Coffee, we’re working to be intentional about partnering with farms and cooperatives where women are not just doing the work — they’re part of the leadership too. Because the future of coffee should look a lot more like the people who actually grow it. So we're raising a cup to the women who keep the whole thing moving. And yes... our coffee tastes amazing too! #jamincoffee #coffee #womenshistorymonth

ROOTED. RESILIENT. REMARKABLE. We’ve seen firsthand how powerful it is when women are present at every stage of the coffee journey — not just in labor, but in leadership. Women have always been part of coffee’s story. But being present is not the same as being recognized. From the land to leadership, from harvest to quality decisions — women are not just hands in the process. They are growers. They are decision-makers. They are custodians of craft. This Women’s History Month, we celebrate the women shaping Jamin Coffee at every stage. #jamincoffee #womenshistorymonth #coffee

We closed out February with a series of beautiful activations at #equinox 💥 Grateful for the team and members who stopped by, sniffed and sipped, and supported a small, women-led brand with deep roots in East Africa and the Bay Area. This isn't a one-off... this is just the beginning — we’re excited to continue the partnership and expand to more locations soon. Heritage in every sip... #jamincoffee #blackhistorymonth #womeninbusiness

Black history. Roasted in Berkeley. Honoring the women and farmers whose hands carry this work - from soil to bean to cup. Care, patience, knowledge - passed hand to hand, generation to generation. This is the foundation. #jamincoffee #blackhistorymonth #frombeantocup #blackownedbusinesses #berkeley

Kenya grows some of the world’s best coffee. Who it was grown for is a different story. We shared a piece of that history — and why remembering matters as we move forward. 👉 Read the full post (link in bio) #jamincoffee #kenyancoffee #specialtycoffeeroaster #singleorigincoffee #coffeehistory

Our happy place. This is where the magic happens. Roasting, grinding, sealing, lining up the good stuff — all in a shared space built for makers, dreamers and coffee lovers. Collaboration, cheering each other on as we produce our coffee, and of course with a wild amount of bean sniffing happening 🥴 Thank you @corocoffee #jamincoffee #specialtycoffee #smallbusinessowner #coffee
