The recording of our BYGONES event is now available in my online store. // @bearcatrenee & I met 20 years ago this week. The story that we lived became a story that I wrote, called To Write Love on Her Arms. The last two decades have been many things, lots of good and also grief. Thank You to everyone who joined us as we spent close to two hours talking about it. Thank You for showing up, for sharing so much goodness in the Chat, and for more great questions than we could even get to. On that note, there are still a couple spots left for 20 QUESTIONS, the small-group conversation Renee & I are hosting next week. Join us Wednesday, March 4 at 7pm ET.
Thank You to everyone who joined me for Night One of BEGIN AGAIN. Night Two is happening on the second day of this new year, at 7pm ET. When you grab a ticket, in addition to being able to check out the event as it happens, you also get access to both recordings. And… there’s merch! Hope to see you soon.
A new chapter called for a new website (jamietworkowski.com) and a new video. I somehow went fifteen years without a speaking reel but I have one now! Some thoughts on hurricanes & mental health, being known, and connection. Big thanks to @jj.margaritondo for the editing help. // If you’re curious about bringing me in as a speaker, whether it’s in-person or virtual, please email [email protected].
In honor of Mental Health Month, Vans Warped Tour and TWLOHA are inviting you to a special virtual screening of To Write Love: A Documentary on the Movement ahead of its global release.
Join us for an exclusive first look at the short documentary, followed by a live conversation with Vans Warped Tour founder Kevin Lyman and To Write Love on Her Arms Founder Jamie Tworkowski as they talk about the impact of music, community, and showing up for mental health.
All funds donated to this watch party will go towards TWLOHA’s Treatment & Recovery Scholarship Program, helping provide access to mental health care for people who need it most.

Something new. If the title resonates, please consider joining me May 21. There’s room for eight people. We’ll talk for three hours and I promise that it goes by fast!
@bearcatrenee & I are excited to host this for a third time. We both loved the first two groups and we’re looking forward to seeing how tonight unfolds. In the first half of 20 QUESTIONS, you tell us about you—your connection to the TWLOHA story, when and how the story found you, what it meant to you back then and what it means today. In the second half, the conversation continues with your questions leading the way. You can ask us anything. This online event starts at 7pm ET and it’s limited to 10 people. We still have room for you! JamieTworkowski.com for tickets & more info.
This week. Join us as we continue to celebrate 20 years of friendship and the 20th anniversary of the To Write Love on Her Arms story. Tickets & more info: JamieTworkowski.com 📷: @iamdavidlawrence
On the 20th anniversary of @jonforeman wearing the first @twloha shirt, @bearcatrenee & I returned to the place where we lived much of the story. It was our first time back at the townhouse that in 2006 belonged to our friend David McKenna. David passed away on December 14, 2012. We had the privilege of knowing and loving him, and being loved by him, before that. Renee and I know each other because of David McKenna, which means without him, TWLOHA wouldn’t exist. All of the good that has happened, all of the lives that have been saved, all of it can be traced back to the life of our friend David McKenna. // A huge thank you to @iamdavidlawrence , who on very little notice agreed to photograph the occasion. As we’ve gotten to know David over the last couple of days, it’s become obvious that he was the perfect guy to take these pictures. TWLOHA is personal for him. We’re forever grateful.
We loved the first two and we’re excited to announce that 20 QUESTIONS will be happening for a third time! Join us next Thursday (April 2) at 7pm ET. Only 10 spots available. Please visit my online store for more info and to grab a ticket.
The first 20 QUESTIONS was something special, with folks coming together from three different countries and—thanks to time zones—two different days. @bearcatrenee & I are excited to do it again tonight. This small-group conversation is as much about your story as it is about ours. If you’re curious, we still have a couple spots available. Join us at 7pm ET. Tickets & more info in my online store.
BYGONES is back tonight! Join us at 8pm ET for more unpacking, more reflection, more conversation, and more answering your awesome questions. Just like BYGONES #1, the Chat will be open throughout the event. We’re excited for more interaction, not only with each other but with everyone who shows up. And if tonight doesn’t work for you, the good news is each ticket purchase also gets you the event recording, which we will send your way tomorrow. JamieTworkowski.com for tickets & more info.
We’re gonna try to be friends. // Favorite colors. // Join us Thursday (3/12) for another round of BYGONES. @bearcatrenee & I are celebrating the 20th anniversary of the To Write Love on Her Arms story with a series of online events, and you are very much invited. This clip is from the first BYGONES back on 2/24. If you missed it, the recording is available in my online store. Last but not least, we still have a few spots available for next week’s small-group conversation, which is called 20 QUESTIONS. That’s happening on Thursday, 3/19. The first time around was really special, with an amazing crew coming together from Australia, South Korea, and across the United States. JamieTworkowski.com for tickets & more info.
