I’ve been filming or finishing film edits almost every day pretty non stop, and today was a glorious one, filming a workshop for educators on designing games and activities for neurodivergent students. I learned a lot and it was so insightful. I think kids are lucky these days there’s so much more education to help kids with a full spectrum of behaviors, I know many of my teachers had nooooo idea how to handle a young me, and I always cheer for the educators that are always educating themselves on how to reach every kid, even the troublesome “handfuls” who have a riot in their blood.

Had an amazing time filming our dear friends in @launderlandcircus which was a stupendously fun show for ALL ages (really!) that has the best of circus with hilarious characters and a rad stage show! They have ONE last show TONIGHT that hasn’t sold out (all the rest are!) so go with the fam or Eve adults will have a merry time! Super proud of @dreasoulfool@snatch.adams@the_sierraerialist@klowndra and more who created this entire original show and knocked it out the laundromat!
On the big screen! My wondrous filmmaker wife worked on this film for almost a year and we got to see it in the theaters the way it’s meant to be seen! The film was a masterwork of documentary film with a raw personal story at its center but I’ll be honest, the movie really shook me to my bones. It’s a head spinning journey on where we’re at and what the future could hold. One of the more important films I’ve seen in some time in terms of what kind of precipice we are on and…oof. Not an easy ride. The film is beautifully made, but I had to take a long walk after it as it tackles the subject head on and it is…not comforting. Absolutely thought provoking, but yeesh. This world is in for some changes sooner than we’d like. But my partner deserves all the love for her incredible work, and the film will prolly get nominated for many an award in its future I’m sure! I’d love to know what other folks think of the film!
Just finished the first edit of a 3 camera music studio film shoot I did for the musical maestro @jim_____greer and the new supergroup band that’s going to be making waves! It had an awesome Tiny Desk feel to it, and the energy was awesome to film. More coming as much is under wraps, but I always love collaborating with fellow artists with a message we need to hear. I also just love filming in general :)
