For my first entry for week 2 of @carmineblackdance 's @sexypolechallenge for @polerized_pins & @dollhousepoledance I wanted to explore movements that look rough by incorporating heel bangs & slaps, kicks, and fast movements. Kitty Update: Thanks to all your help, Bagheera had her bloodwork. According to her bloodwork, she may have kidney disease. We are going to do additional bloodwork and an additional ultrasound to see the best course of action. I.E. medication. For her initial ultrasound…They were able to confirm she has no large growths! Which made me really happy to hear, but since she was, “very active,” during her ultrasound she’ll need another one. The recommended dosage of gabapentin to keep her calm did nothing. Quoting the vet, “This is not a stoned cat…she may be tiny & losing weight, but her dosage should be higher.” I was told to give her more a couple hours before bathing as a test before I make the next appointment…she was, “very active,” during her bath as well… She may be sick, but I did mention she’s a feisty little badass. In the meantime, her auntie Eve & I did take her to watch the sunset at the beach before said bath. Below are some pictures taken this past weekend. I can’t say it enough to everyone that gave, shared, interacted with the post to help out my little one. Thank you all 🐾

*Not an obituary, asking for help if you can* Lately keeping up with anything social in real life & online has been harder than usual. I’ve been having a hard time, doing my best with what life is throwing at me. Right now, the most important part of my life is my baby panther. My fur baby. My familiar. My shadow. This is Bagheera. For short, my little Boobs. A nickname that stuck after a friend couldn’t remember her name & called out, “Boobs!” only for Bagheera to immediately look our way & come over to us. This isn’t an obituary. She’s here with me. Sleeping on my forearms as I type this out. But she’s seen much better days. 15 years old & only 5 pounds (for most of her life, she weighed just over 7). Lately, her health has been declining. I’ve spent a lot more time monitoring her, taking her to the vet, updating the vet via phone call & email, giving her medication, cleaning up after her in a way I haven’t really had to in the past, holding her & telling her how much I love her. The last one I’ve always done, but now it feels different. I’m told I need to prepare myself. Have a plan. Even when she was much younger, I knew I’d want to be able to have someone come to my home to relieve her of whatever pain she would be in. It’s hard to type, but you get the point. She’s always been a little feisty badass, so I figured I have much longer with her. I still hope I do. That being said, I haven’t put aside any funds for this time & now find myself unable to afford additional vet visits. We don’t know for sure what’s going on with her, but the last vet visit, they suggested I start by making an appointment for bloodwork to check her white vs red blood cell count, her thyroid, liver, & kidneys for a total of $345. It’s come to a point where I feel I need to reach out & ask for help: something I haven’t been good at, but Boobs deserves me trying anything to help her. I want to thank you for reading up to this point & if you’re able to donate, anything helps even if it’s $1, $5. It will all go towards her medical bills. (Continued in comments)
