Very excited to be a top finalist in the @castingguildaust and @showcast.au First Nation Initiative. (Yes.. this was announced a month ago but better late than never aye?).
Initiatives like this are crucial in supporting and bringing forth emerging First Nations actors like myself. It is to be recognised that this exists because of all the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists who came before us and fought to create space in this industry. This initiative speaks to and honours that fight, and I’m incredibly proud to continue that legacy and contribute to the storytelling that carries our voices forward. Look forward to seeing all the finalist deadly faces on the big screens!

I’ve been sitting on this one for a minute because of how heavy the content is… But I’m sharing it because it marks a real shift in my growth as an actor.
Most people know I naturally live in the comedy lane (it’s a gift 😌😜). However, in a recent session with @chrissommerscoaching , I pushed myself into something darker. More raw. More emotionally demanding.
This scene stretched me in ways I didn’t expect… It also reminded me how important it is to protect your mental health when working in dark spaces — preparation, boundaries, and knowing how to come back to yourself. That’s part of being a professional too.
I’m incredibly proud of this work. I trusted myself. I committed fully.
And yeah… I ate that shit up 🤭🤭
Growth isn’t always comfortable. But it’s necessary.
