Bringing it home last night for our 30th anniversary bash @kikuroom.sd . Hard to put it into words yet but I do have to say San Diego never disappoints. It’s been a long while since we got to play some records in the city but wow vibes. A huge thank you to the amazing staff of @kikuroom.sd for the warm welcome and hosting us for the night. One for the books for sure. A proper sound system, a couple turntables and a warm rotary. It’s all one needs for a 6 hour journey. I wish I was turning 30, but nope… it’s Jive EP and Seasons Recordings hitting that milestone, and we’re celebrating properly, on vinyl, with family, and on the dance floor.
To mark the occasion, Seasons Recordings has repressed the very first Jive EP, and I get to share the night with some serious family.
Jamie Thinnes (Seasons Recordings), Thomas White (Natural Rhythm), yours truly celebrating another birthday around the sun, and resident DJ Raul Campos will be serving up deep, soulful, vinyl focused house music all night.
Seasons Recordings will be giving away goodies and swag and selling limited vinyl and I’ll be giving away my brand new mix on CD, plus some DJ Dazy swag, because birthdays and anniversaries deserve presents.
