Wrapped this amazing film right before the holidays 🎬✨ It tells the story of two fierce women in a fading boxing gym in the 90s. Here’s a great lighting setup from cinematographer @fiorella_occhipinti Via: @behindthescenegram The beauty/key light was 4x @nanlux_global Evoke 2400B lights through diffusion with a ARRI SkyPanel S360-C on each side with soft boxes for wrap. Lots of tungsten was used for backlighting the talent and side or 3/4 fill light the cafe and extras. Looks like a couple of Wendy Lights and maybe a 10k Mole tungsten fresnel. Flyswatter overhead to control the sun. If you don't enjoy slow motion in B&W..... then I will disappoint you today. A very busy day for the team with building the hallway and an overhead softbox on chain-motor without a grid. Being conscious of our budget, knowing we needed higher output and would be shooting in the hallway for longer than batteries hold up.
