Even though I’m still kinda buzzin about touring with the @the_mavericks , I know there’s a lot of work to be done. Lots of songs to really dig in & learn so I can do them justice. This song has been a favorite of mine for awhile & I can’t wait to play it in front of an audience. Thanks to Paul Deakin for loaning me this sweet nylon string Cordoba until I find one.

Mavericks tour is about 6 weeks out and I’m excited about some of these incredible historic theaters and legendary clubs we’re playing. Are there specific songs you wanna hear me do? I’ll be recording some of your requests and post them up as I get them under my fingers & memorize them.
Happy Mothers Day yall. I wanna send a special shout out to the mother of my daughter, my beautiful wife amyaotto . She has dedicated her life to raising our daughter. She makes sacrifices everyday to make sure that Ava has everything she needs to succeed in life. Moms make the world go round and I’m so grateful for all she does for our family.
Debuted my original song “‘Wallflower” that I wrote with @iamlaurenjenkins at @silveroakcellars during my inaugural visit to Napa for @songwritersinparadise . At first glance, I’m not what you’d consider a wallflower, but I think we’ve all experienced feeling shy, unseen, or like we don’t belong? I think we can all be wallflowers depending on the place we’re in, and the particular crowd we are with.
