With jangly guitars, up-tempo rhythm and post-punk edge, โChomping at the bitโ is maybe GIMMYโs most perfectly crafted indie rock song yet, echoing the sound of two of her favourite bands The Smiths and The Cure.
Written during a period of personal burnout and self-enquiry, the song became a reminder to pause and be present in the journey, rather than racing toward the destination.
