Everyone wants to start from perfect. Finished products. Complete thoughts. Curated and polished presentations of who we are on instagram reels and tik toks. Afraid to say how adrift, afloat, or dry-docked we might feel, especially in today’s what the heck is even happening world?
What if we start from here: listening? Sharing a sea of attention. Playing with a typewriter and a cello—and a building. Join us for an experimental interactive performance. Come see what happens when we welcome the unknown and a primordial sense of the absurd.
This collaborative, experimental performance has been developed expressly for the space at Bldg 12 by local artists @thepoetrystore (Typewriter), @james.jaffe (Cello), @noisysavage (Audio/film), and @ariyassa.music (Soundscapes).
Are you an artist, musician, writer, creative or just a human who suffers from the plight of creative perfectionism? This show may be particularly suited for you.

surreal fun: left the house in white pants for some reason, showed up to @lapochanostra ’s stunning opening at @saintjosephsartsfoundation , performed Piazzolla Grand Tango with Elektra on piano on behalf of her and Mauro’s #flowerpiano festival, posed for the living tableau with the lovely upside down @marymmmatilda and @thepoetrystore , who said look we’re in the pic on @7x7bayarea . we show up for the arts in SF!! flower piano is still going thru this weekend and the LPN exhibit is up at St Joseph’s thru Dec - go and enjoy.

In collaboration with the Sketchboard creative team and art models, we’re planning a concert exploring the drama of Julius Caesar’s assassination.
There’ll food and drinks for purchase, a DJ spinning the afterhang, and a vibrant community of sketch artists capturing the artful poses of the models and the movement of the quartet.
