total solar eclipse • april 8 2024
after experiencing my first solar eclipse in 2017, i knew that it wouldn’t be my last. on top of busy work schedules and planning our wedding, this eclipse wasn’t originally in the cards for us. as the day grew closer, i knew this wasn’t something we could miss. the eclipse is something i’ve always cherished and it’s a feeling i wanted to share with the person i love most. three days out, sarah and i spontaneously decided to fly to vermont. it felt wrong to not witness the last eclipse here in the states for the next 20 years. seeing the awe on sarah’s face during her first totality was my favorite part of this trip. safe to say, the last minute send was well worth it.
we’re especially grateful that we got to see it with some of our closest friends

we all worked really hard to make this happen - from tracking the weather minute by minute, to location scouting to traversing across three states - we did the damn thing.
truly something we will never forget 🤍
