Throwback Thursday ✨ 40 years ago, Just-Ice - Back To The Old School. Produced by myself, Kurtis Mantronik. Back to the Old School was the debut album by Just-Ice. Released 3rd May 1986 on Fresh/Sleeping Bag Records.
🎧 The Roland TR-808, Roland TR-909, ELI Compu Rhythm Cr-7030 and E-mu Sp-12 was used to create the tracks. 🎨 Album artwork by NYC graffiti legends Gemini & Gnome.

From studying under jazz pioneer George Russell to collaborating with legends like Quincy Jones, his work proves that live musicianship and club music can exist on the same stage.
