Our cast included
@jakewalder_ @damianmittiga , Claudia Milham & Dusty Balzac as cult members. They wore big bedsheet cloaks, thick beards and plastic masks even on 30-degree Australian summer days while we filmed.
@matteomedos was also part of the cast as The Man and went beyond that to help us out with our last-minute prop-making problems. The cloaks were sewn by Cain’s amazing mum
@arrowbrowne and the group was catered by my beautiful mum

Our crew included some of my usual most-trusted artists,
@sakina.thaker073 as the cinematographer and
@antonio.bibbo as the assistant director. Sakina’s incredible troubleshooting abilities saved us from many technical pickles on the day, and her skills landed us with a super exciting Best Cinematography Award nomination in AUYFF 2024
@auyffest . Antonio’s management skills kept us afloat when Cain and I had our hands and brains full with the creative bits.
@owenpcotton @jimisagiantpeach handled camera assisting and sound on set, making sure even the tiniest details were taken care of. Every one of them was committed enough to set up and reshoot whatever new on-the-spot idea I had as a director (even if it was admittedly inconvenient sometimes).
And such is the beauty of indie passion film projects. So many wonderful creatives came together and went above and beyond for what started as a giggly thought in Cain and my brains. We are both so grateful for all of the time, effort and talent that was poured into this project.
Although she is now 2 years old and we have all come far in this meantime, this film holds a special happy place in my heart, as do all the people who helped bring it to life 💛🌟
